Interrogatives<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Interrogatives are formed by maintaining the normal word order but inserting certain signals that serve to indicate a question is being spoken.\u00a0 Since Kaitrin Oliva was a native speaker of Spanish, she chose to render these as \u00bf _?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>When the subject is a pronoun, the question marks enclose the combined pronoun\/verb:<\/span><\/span>

When the subject is not a pronoun, the question marks enclose only the verb:

Punctuation<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The ends of words are marked with a vertical line and the ends of sentences with a double vertical line.\u00a0 These are conventions supplied by Kaitrin Oliva.\u00a0 We spoke above of the use of question marks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The imperative form of the verb utilizes the unlinked infinitive form bracketed by \u00a1 _!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is an indicator of emphasis<\/strong>, similar to an exclamation point, represented by >, which<\/span><\/span>\u00a0is placed at the end of sentences before the ||, although it may be placed at the end of any word in a sentence, following the |. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 The < is also used to indicate reflexives when they are used as an emphatic, as in\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span> sho|> sho\u2019u\u2019trio<\/span><\/em>| ||\u00a0\u00a0 I myself will go.\u00a0 (Literally, I, I will go.)<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
